Our campervans are custom made by skilled craftsman. You will love them because they are beautiful with premium trimmings, loads of amenities, and comfortable custom upholstery.  We are very proud of our fleet, but due to their custom nature (and high price tag), they are a little complicated to insure. 

But never fear, Scenic has got you covered! Our team of campervan specialists at Scenic Vanlife Rentals can help you obtain the proper documentation to use your own car insurance at no cost.  This is done by obtaining an RV Binder from your insurance agent.         

What is an RV Binder?

An RV Binder is a certificate issued by your insurance company adding our vehicle to your insurance policy during your trip. 

What Coverage is Required?

Your policy must have comprehensive, and collision coverage.  It also must cover up to the actual cash value of our vehicles.  The limits of liability coverage must be at least the minimum limits as required by any applicable compulsory or financial responsibility law. No collision or comprehensive deductibles shall exceed $1500.00.

Do All Car Insurance Companies Issue RV Binders?

Unfortunately, not all insurers are willing to issue RV Binders to our customers  The following companies are known to issue RV Binders:

·         AAA

·         Allstate

·         Farmers

·         State Farm

·         USAA

If your company is not listed here, that does not mean your company will not insure our vehicles.  We are happy to try to work with your insurance company to get you covered!

I CANNOT GET AN RV BINDER, What now?

No problem.  We can sell you RV Insurance for your adventure.  You even have flexibility to choose different levels of coverage based on your risk tolerance.
